Regular readers of my blog know that Thursdays and Fridays are hectic for me. Not only are they the last two days of the week, they are also the days I take our boy to my parent’s houses. Anyway, most of the time, I only have enough time to post a short blurb or two and today is no exception. In fact, I have to be extra careful today because I have to contend with private school traffic. I need to be outta here by 6 a.m. and get on the road back to work as soon as possible…I’m late, so ttfn!

Today is another get out early day because I think that in addition to UH starting yesterday, the private schools (Iolani & Punahou) start today. I can’t wait to see how that affects traffic, but we’re stuck with it till the fall break.
In other news, it seems that someone has hit and knocked down the wall for the cemetery next to us. I guess they weren’t really looking when they drove off the road and completely obliterated the corner part of the wall. Yesterday I noticed some construction people working on it and when I went to look this morning, the wall was only halfway rebuilt and very ugly I might say. I’m not sure it’ll be built to the same look as before so this was quite a loss…
I’ve gotta get going to wash dishes so, TTFN! have a GREAT day

Sorry guys/gals, don’t have time for a long post, because i’m heading out for a blood test at queens hospital. I get one of these every few months to keep an eye on my glucose and cholesterol levels. In any case, i’ve gotta run outta the house and sorry for not posting more….Maybe i’ll post when I get home from work…

Well, this was the weekend we were so anxiously waiting for. Since we saw the signs up several months ago, we’ve been wanting to go this Bazaar up the street. It was on Sunday and we weren’t really sure what they’d be selling but last time we went to something at the Tenrikyo, they had furniture and a garage sale. This Bazaar was HUGE, let me tell you. I think there were over 7 food booths and lots of new and used stuff. We bought 2 cupcakes, 1 andagi, 2 zabutongs (sp), sushi and a bubble drink. We spent about $20 there and all purchases were ticket only. I’ll post photos up a little later….
In any case, our boy finished up his rice cereal last nite and we think he’s pretty good at it…but it’s sort of an on or off nite thing, it’s never consistent. Anyway, since he’s done with that, it’s barley cereal time, we’ll see how he does on that. I gotta get his facial expression on that one…it’ll be lots of fun, maybe i’ll post it later…
Well got a lot of stuffs to do, ttfn!

Sorry guys/gals, it’ll be a short post today, it’s a bit hard to concentrate on writing a post when you hear your son or daughter making hungry grunting noises in the background. Today I need to take the boy to his Grandma’s house and on these days I find that my time is soo short…
Anyway, i’ve gotta get going, ttyl

If I didn’t mention it earlier, we have a winner in our family. But no, its not me, rather it was my better half and she won first place at the Pearl Harbor Shipyard sponsored 5K run. Five kilometers is about 3 miles and even though it sounds short, to me, this is nothing to sneeze at.
In any case, I just wanted to blog that before it got too late. Anyway, gotta get going. I hope to be able to update tomorrow and the next day, but as you know, Thurs. and Fri. are really nuts days for me in the mornings…

This week will be a rough one for me, but I HOPE to get a lot accomplished. Last week, I got blasted for not finishing some work on time and that REALLY REALLY brought me down. This week, I think I have a chance to redeem myself by catching up on my assignments. We’ll see what happens, but I’d better get cracking before my boss gets annoyed.
In any case, other than that we had a bad feeding day yesterday. It was NOT fun, our little boy was too distracted, fussy and tired to eat, so the only full meal he had was at the 10 feeding. That one is the only one I can feed him without distraction so that’s always my favorite one… :P I should stop worrying and if the boy says it’s enough I have to just go with it…
TTFN, wish me a good day!

and that is what one of my friends on Twitter wrote about today. I guess she meant that as it’s almost Friday and the harps are playing or something…In any case, today is our last work day of the week. We’re lucky in the sense that most of the public sector is off.
Other than that, it’s a slow news day but i have to rush off to mom’s house…

Well, today is hump day and normally when you’d find two more days in a week after today, we’ve only got one day in THIS week left. Thursday now becomes our Friday because Aug. 15th is admissions day, the anniversary of the day that Hawaii officially became part of the “union”.
Anyway, for some history, the date was 1959 and the actual date was Aug. 21. In any case, we always celebrate on the third friday of the month and that happens to be this friday. Hope you all have a great day and enjoy your friday off…
Oh and yes, one more note, I will be returning my white iphone today for a black one…FINALLY yeah!
